මෙම සේනාසනය වයඹ පළාතේ කුරුණෑගල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ගිරිබාව ප‍්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්‍යාලයට අයත් ඉතා දුශ්කර කටුපොතාන නම් පුරාණ ග‍්‍රාමයේ වන අලි ගැවසෙන වන ලැහැබක පිහිටා ඇත. අපවත්වී වදාල පරම පූජණීය රේරුකානේ චන්දවිමල ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ නියෝජනය කල ශ‍්‍රී ලංකා ස්වේජීන් නිකායට අයත් රජයේ ලියාපදිංචි ස්ථානයකි. මෙම ආරණ්‍ය කඳුබොඩ සියනෑ විපස්සනා භාවනා මධ්‍යස්ථානය හා අරන්කැලේ ශ්‍රී මලියදේව අරහත්ත ආරණ්‍ය සේනාසන පාර්ෂවය නියෝජනය කරන්නකි. අක්කර 21 ක් පුරා විහිදුනු රමණීය ආරණ්‍ය සේනාසනයෙහි පිළිවෙත් පුරමින් බවුන් වඩන ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේලා  ගිහි යෝගීන් මෙන්ම  සිල් මෑණිවරුන්ද වැඩ සිටිති.

This monastery is located in a remote area in the Giribawa region, under the Kurunegala district of the Northwestern Province, within the jurisdiction of the Divisional Secretariat Office. It is situated in the ancient village of Katupothana, which lies in the rural wilderness area. The monastery belongs to the Sri Lanka Swejin Nikaya, represented by late most Venerable Rerukane Chandawimala Thero. This forest monastery is a government-registered monastery and it represents the Kanduboda Siyane Vipassana Meditation Center and the Sri Maliyadeva Arahaththa Aranya Senasana party of Arankele. This is spanning over 21 acres, surrounded by a picturesque forest and home to several monks who follow the monastic life in accordance with tradition, along with devoted yogis and lay practitioners.
